Manually prepared purchase orders
Your team creates and edits each purchase order. Nothing is ordered automatically, and thresholds do not generate purchases on their own.
Partial receiving
Receive part of an order as it arrives and choose the stock location that receives the items. The rest stays open on the purchase order.
Work-order parts and stock
Add parts to a work order, then reserve them from a chosen stock location. Reserving holds availability without consuming it; the reserved units are posted from that location when the work order is completed. Older or unlinked part lines are flagged for review, and non-stock lines are not deducted. Stock is never deducted automatically from arbitrary or manually entered history, and a reservation can be released before completion.
