Forestry Fleet Maintenance Software
Forestry equipment works hard and breaks in expensive places. DZ Fleet Suite gives crews a service and repair history for each machine, so the next repair starts with what was already done.

Typical Equipment
Equipment You Can Keep on Record
Examples of the kinds of units crews add. Your own list will differ.
Skidders and forwarders
Engine-hour PM and a running repair log per machine.
Chippers and grinders
Hours-based service with parts and labor on each work order.
Log trucks and service pickups
Mileage-based PM, with an optional VIN.
Saws, trailers, and support units
Serial numbers and notes on a simple unit record.
Maintenance Workflow
What the Software Does
One service history
Repairs, PM, parts, labor, and shop notes stay on the unit's record, so the next person sees what was done before.
Work orders with parts and labor
Open a work order for any unit, assign a technician, record parts and labor, and close it with the cause and correction on file.
Meter-based or calendar PM
Set each unit's primary meter to miles or engine hours, and schedule preventive maintenance by meter, by calendar interval, or both.
Serials and optional VIN
Generic assets do not need a VIN. Record unit number, make, model, year, engine and transmission serials, and up to three custom serials.
Locations
Assign units to a yard, shop, or site so each location can see the equipment it looks after.
Illustrative Example
Illustrative scenario: a recurring hydraulic repair
This is an example, not a customer case. A skidder returns with a hose failure for the second time in a season. The mechanic opens the unit's history, sees the earlier work order with its parts and cause note, and records the new repair with the correction. The pattern is visible instead of buried in text messages.
What this page is and is not
DZ Fleet Suite records equipment maintenance. It is not forestry production tracking, harvest planning, or log scaling software.
