Turn Verizon Connect Reveal Data Into Maintenance Action

A focused periodic REST sync for mapped vehicles. Import supported odometer readings, engine hours, diagnostic fault codes, and last-known locations to make shop records useful without replacing Verizon.

Integration available on Professional & Enterprise plans.
We recommend requesting a demo to confirm hardware and plan fit before starting.

Targeted Sync, Not a Full Mirror

This integration is designed for fleet managers who want a small, accountable subset of telematics data to become useful shop records. It is a strictly limited data handoff: we do not use continuous streams, webhooks, broad account access, or full data mirroring.

Verizon Connect remains your telematics system. DZ Fleet Suite retrieves only these supported records for mapped vehicles, then uses them in the asset and maintenance workflows described below.

That narrow handoff means less manual meter entry, current mileage and engine-hour context, faster visibility when a supported fault appears, and fewer duplicate fault work orders—without trying to replace the Verizon tools your fleet already uses.

What Connects to Your Fleet

A focused synchronization built for practical fleet management and reliable maintenance triggers.

Meter Values Advance Assets

Supported odometer and engine hour values advance the matching asset record, directly informing mileage and hour-based preventive maintenance decisions.

Actionable Diagnostic Codes

Supported diagnostic codes can open one high-priority work order. If the same code has an active work order, it will not create a duplicate, keeping your queue clean.

Last-Known Location Snapshot

A last known vehicle location snapshot helps yard coordinators and shop staff locate an asset when it needs service. This is a point-in-time reference, not continuous route tracking.

Integration Boundaries

What You Should Know

Availability strictly depends on the customer's Verizon account, plan, specific vehicle, hardware capabilities, and returned API data. This is an operational REST sync, not live GPS tracking or a webhook stream. It handles a limited subset of maintenance data and never mirrors full Reveal accounts.

How to Connect Your Account

Setup requires administrative access in both platforms.

1

Secure Credentials

Enter your authorized Reveal username and password. Credentials are encrypted prior to storage.

2

Map Vehicles

Link your specific telematics trackers to the corresponding asset records in DZ Fleet Suite.

3

Enable Sync

Save the mapping. Automatic sync runs every 30 minutes, or you can trigger a manual "Sync Now".

4

Act on Data

Meter values inform maintenance decisions, and supported diagnostic codes can open accountable work orders.

Integration FAQ

What is the scope of the integration?
The integration performs a focused periodic REST sync for mapped vehicles. It imports supported odometer readings, engine hours, diagnostic codes, and a last-known-location snapshot to inform maintenance workflows.
What data is not copied?
This is not a full account mirror. It does not import driver behaviors, dashcam footage, fuel purchase history, continuous telemetry streams, webhooks, or broad account data outside the selected scope.
What is the sync cadence?
An automatic synchronization runs every 30 minutes. An authorized Owner or Admin can also trigger a "Sync Now" request manually.
How are vehicles mapped?
Telematics devices in Reveal must be individually mapped to corresponding asset records in DZ Fleet Suite. Only mapped assets are synchronized.
How does diagnostic fault behavior work?
When a supported diagnostic code is returned, the integration can automatically open one high-priority work order. It will not open duplicate work orders for the same code while the original is still active.
What does integration availability depend on?
Successful synchronization strictly depends on your Verizon account configuration, active subscription plan, the specific vehicle's make and model, the installed hardware capabilities, and the actual data returned by the API.
How are my credentials handled?
Your authorized Verizon Connect Reveal credentials are encrypted prior to storage in the database.
Is this a live-GPS tracking system?
No. The integration provides a last-known-location snapshot to help locate an asset for shop or yard retrieval, but it is not real-time route tracking.
Which plans include this integration?
The integration is included exclusively in the Professional and Enterprise plans.
